The owner, Ken Gralow, is a 1972 graduate of Hope College in Holland Michigan. He is certified in Root Cause Failure Analysis of Electric Motors, D.C. Motor Repair Fundamentals, Mechanical Repair of Large A.C. Motors, as well as Centrifugal and Submersible Pump Repair. Ken is also President of the local Hudson/Mohawk Chapter of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association, a member of EASA’s Technical Education committee and writes an annual article for Currents, the association’s monthly technical publication.

Principally engaged in the sales and service of electric motors and equipment driven by electric motors such as pumps, gearboxes, and compressors, the Gray Electric Co. also provides onsite service and repair. Complimented by a full machine shop and welding facility, the quality repair of small fractional horsepower and large industrial motors is easily handled. Furnace motors, pool pumps, power tools and other residential use motors are routinely repaired for service companies as well as the end user.

The staff of 6 certified trained technicians also provides specialized services such as precision laser shaft alignment, electrical control diagnosis, vibration analysis and balancing.
